Artist's Comments

It just hit me that this file is around 6 years old now! This was the first picture I made for Berrygirl when I did it under an assumed name and posted it in the "Expanding Horizons" Group on MSN - with no info as to the source. The "actual" file was high res, good color, but I didn't want anyone to know at that time where it actually came from because I didn't want to get bombarded by requests. Sooo, I photoshopped the file to look like a photograph of a printed comic book, down to fake creases in the spine and highlights on the cover. I felt a little guilty when someone posted that they'd driven to *every* comic book shop in a 100 mile radius hoping to find a copy. I can't post the rest here again as it'll be quickly pulled, but here's the file that started it all in it's original posted form.

Haha, wow.. I'm imagining trying to ask a comic book store owner about where to find this and having to describe the cover... >.>

Ah, but what a classic. One of the seminal expansion sequences. If you never got paid for Berrygirl, there's no Justice in the world, especially since (if memory serves) you were working on it roundabout the time your digestive juices were eating away your own throat... :(

I loved that comic too!

In my world there is no such thing as too much of a good thing or too big

For all the attempt to conceal the source, it's unmistakably your style. The internet is a bigger place than the outside world, so I never had the idea in my head that it was a print comic.

Six years??!? Holy crap... still, you are a sneaky bugger!

Ah yes, the classic story that many hunt for and many more hope to see the second issue one day. :+favlove:

Is there anybody going to listen to my story,
All about the girl who came to stay?
She's the kind of girl you want so much it makes you sorry,
Still you don't regret a single day.
Ah girl, girl.
